Community Thrift Store

The Community Thrift Store is a project run entirely by volunteers. Kind folk donate their unwanted but useful clothes and other household items. Volunteers sort these items for easier shopping. Everything is sold on a sliding-scale system (you pay what you can at the time). If folks are unable to pay for needed items, they can volunteer at the store to earn store credit. All proceeds go back into the BBCLT Co-Op to help fund future projects and improvements. The Thrift Store has held events at the Big Bend Community Club, and now has a more permanent home on the BBCLT farm. We can only take donations that are useful and in working condition. Please contact us if you have donations.

*If your family has immediate material needs, such as kid clothes, work clothes, shoes, etc, please contact us on email at: “info @ bigbendclt . net” (remove spaces), or call Puck at 337-6444 (or find her in town). With so much surplus, there is never a reason for our fellow Big Benders to go without.*
